About

The purpose and objectives of the Association of Southeastern State Park Directors is to enable its member, through the exchange of ideas, the study of mutual problems,  and the examination of state park facilities in other states, to better fit themselves to carry on state park work and to further better conservation  practices; to acquaint the state park officials of this group of states with each other to the end that better understanding and cooperation will exist between them; to promote and establish the highest possible professional standards for those actively engaged in state park work; and to provide a medium whereby the members of the Association may act as a unit in the presentation, discussion, and settlement of mutual problems arising with other agencies.
